Our future world:

Industry around the world is faced with taking care of our fragile environment, and it has become vital for all manufacturers of the products we need, or want, to take responsibility for protecting us all, and they are working to make that happen. Industries such as, but not limited to, the manufacturing of wood products, paper processing, plastic products, food processing, animal feeds, and various types other agricultural processing facilities are directly in the sights of numerous government agencies.

Most industries recognize their position in the scheme of things and are complying with government regulations. They rely on manufacturers of environmental pollution control products to keep them in the good graces of the EPA, and well they should. Those companies have invested a lot of time and money in the design of their products. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies who are constantly involved in research to find better products for the future of world manufacturing and the control of conditions in the work place.

The only problem is, many of the world’s manufacturing firms are not yet familiar with how these air pollution abatement products work, they just know who builds those products and call on them as their needs require. Having a good working  knowledge of how to maintain these devises and how to keep them in good operational condition is somewhat lacking. Administrative and plant personnel need to have knowledge of not only how these systems function, but what the design criteria is based on. This understanding of the equipment doesn’t need to be at the level of the manufacturer’s design personnel, but it is important for them to know how the principles that are used work to keep the environment safe. By having this knowledge, the maintenance personnel can trouble shoot problems as they arise.
